Krazy Kup brings together a multitude of passions - coffee, art, music, travel - and offers the opportunity for us to experience them all in one eclectic venue. Owners Frank and Wenda Trunzo do a fantastic job bringing their broad travels, diverse experiences, and vibrant spirits to life within the shop. Krazy Kup operates as a coffee shop and venue, hosting musicians, comedians, open mic nights, bluegrass jam sessions, and special events throughout each month. The mix works - Krazy Kup has as great vibe that offers something for everyone. Whether you're in need of a quick shot of espresso, a bite to eat, or a place to spend a few hours listening to live music, this place has it for you.

Offering

Krazy Kup has an extensive café menu offering something for every palate: Freshly brewed filter coffee, a full line of espresso-based drinks, cold brews (including nitro), hot and cold teas, frappés, fruit smoothies, and protein shakes. The shop offers an awesome selection of homemade food as well. Check out the delicious biscotti, huge muffins, and handmade wraps. The owners have found inspiration for the menu from their travels, and they have brought those flavors straight to us at Krazy Kup.

Hardware

The Centerpiece: La Marzocco Linea Three-Group LINEA-3G-AV

The shop is powered by a 2008 La Marzocca Linea Three-Group head espresso machine. Linea's are widely used and built to last. This particular hardware is a perfect example - still producing consistent pulls after 12 years. The machine's timeless look is complimented by its ability to withstand high-volume operations, and Krazy Kup definitely keeps it humming each and every day.

The Crop

Sourcing Style: Direct Source from Kona, Hawai'i

Krazy Kup holds quality in high standard when it comes to the beans they source. The shop is mainly supplied with medium and dark roast beans through a direct relationship with a Kona-based coffee farm and roastery. Kona coffee is renowned for its simple, balanced, and fruit-forward flavor profiles fueled by its growth in rich volcanic soils. Frequent bean deliveries from the Big Island ensure that each cup sold is at its peak freshness from the roast date.
