Mahogany Coffee Co. was birthed out of the entrepreneurial spirit of Devon Ally. He knew from a young age that he wanted to create and run a business. With a growing fascination for everything coffee, he decided to combine his passions and open Mahogany Coffee in 2020. The coffee bar captures the essence of Devon's concept - premium quality coffee, resposibly sourced, served with confidence and style. He explained his philosophy: "We serve a latte at our chest-high bar, logo out, carefully-poured and filled to the brim of the cup. Offering

Mahogany's menu is simple and straightforward - the espress-based classics done right. You'll find everything perfectly prepared here - from a simple shot of espresso up through an artistically-poured latte. They frequently pull in new unique bean blends (see more below) that keep the base espresso flavors original and fresh. If you're a fan of specialty drinks, check out the Mahogany Matcha, Mocha, or Chai Latte. They also offer some vibrant seasonal creations around holidays.

The Centerpiece: La San Marco Two Group 100 E (Electronic)

La San Marco is based just outside the small town of Gradisca d'Isonzo, Italy - a few miles from the Northeastern border with Slovenia - and has been designing espresso machines since the early 1920's. The La San Marco 100 E combines the classic with the futuristic. The tight lines of the espresso machine provide a stylish contrast to the more natural elements of Mahogany's aesthetic. Mahogany relies on the perfect grind from a Mahlkönig Twin EKK 43, engineered and manufactured in Hamburg, Germany. The quality and precision of this equipment is reflected in every cup Mahogany serves.

Sourcing Style: Responsibly Sourced, Direct Trade

Roaster: Multiple, Including Ligature Coffee & Onyx Coffee Lab

Mahogany maintains a relationship with multiple roasters to bring in a variety of beans to the bar. Devon experiments with unique blends. We tried a Latin American/Ethiopian blend that brought both natural and washed processing methods into an intercontinental mix. These blends create distinct flavor profiles that further fuel the creative process when preparing the drinks. Mahogany is continuously switching up their bean selection, but is consistent in their approach to ensure the source of the beans is always transparent through the process.
