Bio

Location: 1212 Woodward St #1, Orlando, FL

Qreate Coffee + Studio is rooted in the passions of owner, Quay "Q" Hu. Through his vast travels as a professional photographer, he's experienced the diverse world of coffee and has worked to bring a piece back for Orlando. This place is a mash-up of a flexible photography studio and a coffee bar, and serves as a hub for local artists in the Mills 50 district of Orlando. The space is bright, open, and inviting. It brings together a fantastic collective of personalities to share thoughts and experiences - all over thoughtfully sourced, carefully blended and locally roasted coffee. The baristas create a warm and welcoming environment as they greet you and help you through the menu. The vision for Qreate was to develop a community hub centered around the creative, and they are definitely succeeding in that mission.

Offering

Qreate serves up the full range of espresso-based drinks, along with Chemex and V60 Pour Over options. You can pick up a cold brew as well - or how about a whole growler's worth? Qreate lives up to its name on the Specialty Drinks side of the menu. Check out the Purple Pearl, Midnight Mocha, Matcha Latte, or our pick - the Wasabi Rose (Pistachio & Rose Milk Over Espresso). They also offer a selection of small bites if you need a quick fix. If you enjoy your cup in the studio, grab a bag of beans off the retail shelf and brew up the the great flavors at home.

The Centerpiece: La Marzocco Two-Group Linea PB

Qreate relies on its La Marzocco Linea PB to keep things running every day. The machine is dependable, consistent, and easy to maintain. A Mazzer Super Jolly grinder doses out grinds for the baristas. A Mahlkonig GH2 does the work when it comes to grinding bulk beans for the shop.

Sourcing Style: Single Origins, House-Made Blends

Qreate works with local roasting professionals to source single origin beans - mainly South American - and create bespoke blends for the studio. This process produces one-of-a-kind flavor profiles unique to Qreate's bar. The partnership with local roasters is a conscious strategy by Qreate to leverage the best skills and expertise in the area to generate the desired finish on the beans. The baristas perfectly prepare each drink to ensure the best flavor is translated from the bean into your cup.
